Obituary

Pauline Marie DAngelo Binns was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, on March 6th, 1926, to Guido and Josephine DAngelo. She lived in Quincy and attended Quincy High School where she graduated in 1944. She met her husband, Lloyd Binns, at a dance in 1946 and married in 1947. They became parents of three boys, Lloyd Jr., David, and Jeffrey while still residing in Massachusetts. In 1957, as work slowed down, they moved to California, where their fourth son, Robert, was born. They lived in West Los Angeles for three years and then moved to Reseda in 1962 where they stayed in the same house for the next 20 years. In 1984, while Lloyd Sr. was battling cancer, they moved to a home in Simi Valley. After Lloyd Sr. passed, she remained in that home until the age of 91, when her health began to deteriorate and she could no longer live alone. In March 2017, she moved to an assisted living facility close to Robert, San Clemente Villas by the Sea, where she lived until she passed, in her sleep, at 3:30am, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. She was 92 years old.
Pauline loved painting, music, roses, and had a special love for butterflies. She has asked that Every time you see a butterfly when I’m gone, could you say Hi Pauline! or Hi Grandma Polly!
Pauline had a deep love for her family and Jesus. She was a member of Stonebridge Community Church for many years where she served her Lord faithfully, until she was no longer able to attend. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jodi Binns, and Jeffrey Binns; her grandchildren, Christopher Binns, Brendan Walker, Aimee Middleton, Stephanie Akers, Brooke Binns, Robert M. Binns, Christie Sanchez, Carina Vandevelde, Marissa Binns, ten great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews in California, Texas, Iowa, and Massachusetts.
Services will be held at the Church at Oakwood Cemetery, 23601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311, on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:00am. The reception is at Stonebridge Church, 4832 Cochran, Simi Valley, 93063, immediately following burial from 1:00-2:30pm.
